In it for the long run

Dreams

I want to win

   the Nobel Peace Prize,

   barnstorm in towns without Borders,

 end world

hunger while swimming

   the English Channel,

   and eat poached

   eggs on the shore  in Calais,

become president

  of an unpronounceable

  island

  republic,

  grow my own

  bananas,

sail around the world in a Sun-

  fish, flashing candy

  cane stripes under ribbons

  of ocean,

discover home.
