Christmas 2021 Daring to hope in an uncertain time
It was time to find where
the light
left off.
There were hide and seek games.
Clouds parting like tabernacle
curtains. Music
from an unknown source. We followed
strangers who told stories. A
refugee
family greeted us. We remember,
the gaze that held us softly.
May your journey, wherever it leads,
lead to light and goodness.
